Hexagon and Coasters Pattern - Anleitung Sechsecke und Untersetzer

Hi there,

some of you have been waiting/hoping for some time for me to write down the pattern of the hexagons I have been working with these last few weeks. As I'm no good in drawing, I can only offer a written pattern (combined with pictures) and no chart. Or does anyone know a programme (easy to use) which I could use for drawing a crochet-chart? One more thing... I did try very hard to do it right, if you'd still find a mistake though, do let me know!
Be that as it may - here we go:

Hexagon (incl. Coaster)

Abreviations:
tr = treble
mc = magic circle
ch = chain stitch
ss = slip stitch
tr2tog = 2 tr together (= decreasing one stitch)
tr3tog = 3 tr together (= decreasing 2 stitches)
ch = chain stitch
loop = loop made of ch
dc = double crochet
rd = round

Start with a magic circle (blue yarn).

Round 1: ch 4 (= 1 tr + 1 ch) in mc, * 1 tr + 1 ch *, repeat * * 4 times, ss in 3rd ch from start (= 6x 1 tr + 1 ch)

Round 2: ss in first loop, [tr2tog, ch 2, tr2tog] in loop, * [tr2tog, ch 2, tr2tog] in next loop *, repeat * * 4 times, ss in first tr2tog

Round 3: ss in first loop, * tr3tog in loop, ch 3 *, repeat * * 10 times, ss in first tr3tog

Round 4: ss in first loop, [ch 3 (= 1 tr), 1 tr, ch 1, 2 tr], * (2 tr, ch 1, 2 tr) in next loop *, repeat * * 10 times, ss in 3rd ch from start

Round 5: 2 ss in first loop, [ch 3 (= 1tr), 1 tr, ch 1, 2 tr] * 1 dc in middle of 4 tr of rd 4, (2 tr, ch1, 2 tr) in next loop *, repeat * * 11 times, 1 dc in middle of 4 tr of rd 4, ss in 3rd ch from start

Round 6 (for the hexagon): ss in first loop, [ch 3 (= 1tr), 2 tr, ch 1, 3 tr] * 1 dc in dc rd 5, (3 tr, ch 1, 3 tr.) in next loop *, repeat * * 11 times, 1 dc in dc rd 5, ss in 3rd ch from start

COASTER:
You might have intended to crochet just a coaster/doily. If so though, round 6 goes as follows:
Round 6: ss in first loop, [ch 3 (= 1tr), 5 tr] * 1 dc in dc rd 5, 5 tr in next loop *, repeat * * 11 times, 1 dc in dc rd 5, ss in 3rd ch from start
Finishing: Fasten off and weave ends in. Pull magic circle close, weave thread in.

Round 7 (white yarn): dc in any loop (standing stitch), ch 2, * 1 tr in dc, ch 2, corner [= 2 tr, ch 2, 2 tr] in next loop, ch 2, 1 tr in dc, ch 2, 1 dc in loop, ch 2 *, repeat * * 4 times, ch 2, corner, ch 2, 1 tr, ch 2, ss in first dc.

Round 8: ch 2 (= 1 dc), * 2 dc in loop, 1 dc in tr, 2 dc in loop, twice 1 dc in tr, corner [= 1 dc, ch 2, 1 dc] in next loop, twice 1 dc in tr, 2 dc in next loop, 1 dc in tr, 2 dc in next loop, 1 dc in dc *, repeat * * 4 times, 2 dc in next loop, 1 dc in tr, 2 dc in next loop, twice 1 dc in tr, corner in next loop, twice 1 dc in tr, 2 dc in next loop, 1 dc in tr, 2 dc in next loop, ss in 2nd ch from start.

Round 9: ch 3 (= 1 tr), * 1 sc in each tr, corner [= 1 tr, ch 2, 1 tr] in loop *, repeat * * 5 times, 1 tr in each dc, ss in ch 3 from start

Finishing:
Fasten off and weave ends in. Pull magic circle close, weave thread in.
